Arise Conference 2024

The Arise Women’s Ministry emerged in 2010 as a result of Pastor Lisa Kai's obedience to God’s call on her life. Pastor Lisa envisioned a safe haven for women, not only within Inspire Church but all over Oahu, where they could gather, fellowship, share life’s challenges, and be strengthened through worship and the Word of God.

While one aspect of Arise Women’s Ministry is an annual conference that empowers women to reach their fullest expression in Jesus Christ, another dimension focuses on connecting women to the church and to each other. Weekly, women gather around the island for connect groups, engaging in conversations, offering mutual encouragement, and growing in their spiritual journey. Quarterly, women also unite at Inspire Church for Arise Girl's Night In (GNI), featuring worship, a powerful message, and fellowship.

At the core of Arise Ministry is the commitment to impact the local and global community through Arise 5. Arise 5 partners with five organizations, including HUGS, She Rescue, Ho’Ola Na’Pua, Special Olympics, and Project Hawaii. Through Arise 5, we actively become the hands and feet of Jesus, making a meaningful difference in our communities.

Genuine. Compassionate. Hilarious. These are just a few words to describe who Lisa Kai is. Her love for people coupled with the calling on her life to help women discover their worth in Christ led her to birth the Arise Women’s movement which hosts an annual conference to empower women to embrace their full identity in Christ and become all He’s called them to be. She is also the author of Perfectly You and Wake Up!, and host of the I Am Her Podcast. Together, her and her husband, Mike Kai, pastor a thriving, multi-site congregation called Inspire Church based in the heart of Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.

Rarely are the terms “hilarious storyteller” and “theological scholar” used in the same sentence, much less used to describe the same person but then again, Lisa Harper is anything but stereotypical! She’s been lauded as a compelling communicator, whose writing and speaking emphasize that accruing knowledge about God pales next to a real and intimate relationship with Jesus. Her style combines sound biblical exposition and exegesis with engaging anecdotes and comedic wit.

Pastor Marie Silva is the Co-Lead Pastor of FreedomHouse Church. A growing dynamic movement that is changing the OC/LA area. She is a gifted preacher, singer and Worship Leader, and leads the Women's ministry at FreedomHouse Church that raises women to be Fiercely Feminine. Pastor Marie has a genuine love for God and people that is infectious. Together they Pastor FreedomHouse Church with a God assignment “To Raise Up A Generation After The Heart Of God, Who will Do All His Will!”

Arise 5

Arise Five originated from Ps. Lisa's heart with the purpose of bringing the love of Jesus to every corner of our community and making a personal, local, and global impact.

Over the past several years, Arise Five has served as the hands and feet of Jesus, pouring out love and generosity in every community outreach, ensuring that every woman and child knows they are loved by God.

This year, Arise Five is supporting Hale Kipa, Special Olympics, She Rescue, and Women In Need.

Consider partnering with Arise Five:

1. BELIEVE: Join us in believing that God chose these five organizations in 2023. Together, we can be the change.

2. PRAY: Set aside time at 5:00 each day to pray. Join us in seeking guidance and protection for our Arise Five partner organizations.

3. PLEDGE: Make a monthly pledge for the next 12 months.

4. FIND: Encourage five friends to join in supporting Arise Five.

5. VOLUNTEER: Dedicate five hours over the next 12 months to support at least one of the Arise Five organizations.

ARISE GIRL, a vibrant community designed for ages 12-17 within the Arise Women’s Ministry, is a dynamic space where young girls aspire to reach their fullest potential in Christ. Fueled by strength and resilience, these girls embody a spirit of uplifting one another. ARISE GIRL is not just a gathering; it's a transformative community for the next generation of young leaders who are passionate about making a positive impact. Through engaging events, meaningful discussions, and a shared commitment to growth, ARISE GIRL provides a supportive environment for these young girls to thrive and become influential contributors to their communities and the world at large. It's more than a group; it's a movement of empowered young minds eager to rise and make a lasting difference in the world.

How do I access the conference?

Your ticket for the conference will be emailed to you upon registration. A personalized armband will be given to you upon check in for conference, which must be worn at all times in order to access the conference venue.

How do I access the online experience?

Once you have completed your registration, you will be emailed an Online Pass the week of the conference, which is your ticket to view Arise Online. An Online Pass is a personalized, exclusive link for you to view the conference online from your home!

Can I bring my kids with me?

Your children are welcome to Arise! We will have Arise Kids available to add in your registration process!

Are there any nearby airports to fly into?

We are located on the island of Oahu. You can fly into the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). There are also several nearby hotel options to choose from.

Are there any nearby hotels?

Inspire Church is located in Waikele in West Oahu. Here is a list of nearby hotels and lodging options in the area: Hampton Inn & Suite Kapolei Embassy Suites by Hilton Oahu Kapolei Residence Inn by Marriott Oahu Kapolei Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa If you want to stay in town, there are various hotels in the Waikiki area.

Where can I park at the conference?

Parking is located on-site at Inspire Church. Shuttles will be available to adjacent overflow parking in the area. Our parking team will also be available upon your arrival to the Waikele Shopping Center to assist in directing to the nearest avaialbole space.

What if I need special assistance?
